The Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions focusses artistic work that is located at the intersection of film and fine arts. This year’s theme is “Mapping the Invisible”, asking the question, how the relationship between reality and its pictorial representation has changed since the beginning of the history of film, and what invisibility means in the context of omnipresent imagery in today’s lives.
